Matthew Osmon was born in Flint, Michigan in 1978. His fine art studio practice is focused on drawing, watercolor and screen-printing. He also works as a freelance graphic designer focusing mainly on logo design and print media. He is the co-artistic director of Fly-Town Puppet Theatre and is currently teaching fine art, design, photography, digital art, puppet making and video production full time at Mott Middle College High School. In addition he teaches various combinations of puppet making, painting, drawing, digital manipulation, portfolio development and theater make-up part time at the Flint Institute of Arts. Matthew is also working and teaching screen printing at Factory Two, a maker's space in Flint and is a lecturer in art education at The University of Michigan - Flint.
Matthew earned a BA(2000) in Visual Art and Theater Design from Columbia College Chicago and an MA(2012) in Educational Technology from The University of Michigan-Flint.
Matthew currently resides in Flint, Michigan with his wife Nikki and daughter Ada.
